A unique museum
The Netherlands Drugstore Museum in Maarssen is unique in the world. The collection of ten thousand articles is rich in the history of the Dutch drugstore branch. There are over 150 yawners to be seen. These are the ancient symbol of a drugstore. A big attraction is the largest yawner in the world. It is about 2 meters in height. The museum is housed in the former coach-house of Goudestein, now the townhall of Maarssen.
