Shops
The history of the drugstore is not only about yawners. There are also two complete shops. One from 1901 and the other from 1934. The 1901 shop comes from the Amsterdam Straatsliedenbuurt area and has after moving premises many times, arrived with thanks to the sponsors, in this museum.
The 1934 shop is originally from Den Haag. There the manager, Mia Ranke (one of the first lady entrepreneurs in Holland) had her drugstore on de Laan van Meerdervoort from 1934 to 1987.

Drugstore articles
The many drugstore articles give a good picture of the present and far off past. The museum has a collection of tins, glass bottles and china pots, where in the past, supplies were stored.
As well as the permenent exhibition, there is also a variable exhibition with a theme from the drugstore world.
